How many pictures will we receive?
That is dependent on which session you choose. Roughly, you will get 50 images per hour. I will do my best to meet your needs on image count.
How should we dress for our family session?
I always like neutrals or solids best! Try to not wear the same color, but instead do coordinating colors. I love when clients wear what they are comfortable in and would wear on a daily basis giving you a more relaxed/natural look. If you need help, feel free to ask for outfit advice!
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Depends on the baby! But, typically after a feed so they are nice & relaxed, even sleepy which helps for those adorable sleeping pictures. I have found that mid-morning is the best time or around 3pm. But like I said, it really depends on your baby!
As for age, that 2-3 week window is perfect.
Do you travel?
Yes! I am based out of Minnesota/North Dakota but love an excuse to get out and travel.
Depending how far, I do charge a mileage reimbursement.
What is the best time of year to book a session?
All the time! September + early October is typically the best weather/colors with the trees. These months book fast though so get on the schedule today.
I am also a sucker for a cozy winter session! Don't be afraid to reach out in the winter months - it's not too cold!
How far out do you book sessions?
For weddings, a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.
For all other sessions, a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 4 months ahead of time.
